The Cowboys Leagues Club is the premier recreational venue in Townsville and the social home of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant Manager who possesses a passion for restaurant and cafe operations. This role is advertised as fulltime, with the potential of being parttime.

Our Club is all about teamwork, customer service and community! We have wonderful customers who visit us regularly as well new customers frequenting our beautiful Club. We could not deliver exceptional customer service and a premier venue without our amazing employees. About the role

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for:

- Providing leadership, training, direction and motivation by working with all FOH restaurant and café staff, including Supervisors.

- Ensuring a very high standard of customer relations within the restaurant and cafe operations.

- Managing, coordinating and overseeing all FOH restaurant and cafe operations. This includes staffing levels, rostering and performance.

- Uphold workplace health and safety, hygiene, and food safety standards.

- Contribute to business growth through innovation and efficient operations.

About You

- Your background could be quite varied, you may be a restaurant or cafe manager or strong supervisor looking for new challenge or an experienced chef looking to get out of the kitchen.

- You take pride in delivering quality service in a caring and mature manner.

- You enjoy working with people and can build strong rapport with both customers and your team.

- Strong work ethic and effective communicator.

- Excellent presentation and personal grooming.

Successful applicants will ideally have:

- A passion for hospitality and FOH operations.

- Ability to provide exceptional customer service.

- Ability to remain calm and confident under pressure.

- Ability to problem solve, with a focus on continuous improvement.

- Competent in the use of Microsoft Suite - Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Proven ability to lead by example and provide effective guidance and training to the Restaurant and Cafe team.

- RSA, RSG and Food Handlers certificate.
