About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef De Partie to join our team within a dynamic licensed club environment. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high‐quality food that enhances the overall guest experience, while supporting the smooth operation of a fast‐paced kitchen. You will bring creativity, consistency, and a strong focus on quality to every plate, contributing to a welcoming and vibrant dining offering for our members and guests.
What You'll Be Doing
* Preparing and cooking meals in line with menu specifications, ensuring exceptional presentation and quality
* Maintaining consistency through adherence to recipes, portion control, and food cost management
* Assisting in the day‐to‐day operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient and timely service
* Supporting, mentoring, and guiding junior kitchen staff as required
* Ensuring compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
* Monitoring food quality and presentation, and addressing any issues promptly
* Contributing to menu development, including seasonal specials and innovation
* Catering to dietary requirements and preferences where needed
* Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper stock rotation (FIFO)
* Minimising waste and ensuring cost‐effective kitchen practices
* Staying up to date with culinary trends and continuously improving the dining experience
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Chef in a high‐volume kitchen, restaurant, or licensed venue
* Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety regulations, and hygiene practices
* A keen eye for detail in food preparation, presentation, and quality control
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced, team‐oriented environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adaptFood safety and hygiene certification (preferred)
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
