Adecco is recruiting a hands-on Despatch Manager. This is a leadership role requiring a proactive and engaged manager who is prepared to work alongside the team to maintain efficient daily operations. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Despatch Manager will play an active role in all aspects of the workflow, including truck loading, inventory management, and ensuring the smooth and timely movement of goods.
Responsibilities
* Lead and actively participate in day-to-day despatch operations to ensure efficiency
* Oversee the management of inward and outward goods effectively
* Coordinate delivery schedules and truck movements to meet deadlines
* Load and unload trucks as required to maintain workflow
* Ensure compliance with all Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
Your Profile
* Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, or dispatch/logistics is essential
* Current forklift license is required for operational tasks
* Comfortable with lifting up to 20 kg
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Proficient in using dispatch and inventory management systems for record-keeping
