**Job Title:** Credit Manager
We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager to lead our credit team. This key role involves managing client relationships, staff, and analysis to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with major clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
* Team Leadership: Set goals and KPIs for the team, mentor and develop team members to ensure optimum performance.
* Operational Direction: Provide hands-on management and operational direction to the credit team.
* Reconciliations & Reporting: Oversee reconciliations and produce monthly and year-end reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Assessment: Control and direct the credit assessment process, including approval of limits.
* Collections: Discuss debt escalation and referral management with external parties.
Qualifications:
* Experience: Strong commercial credit background with previous Accounts Receivable/Credit Manager experience.
* Skillset: Excellent problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Excel, and other computer skills.
* Communication: Exceptional communication skills to interact with staff, internal divisions, and external customers.
* AICM Membership is preferred.
