We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinical educator midwife to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, delivering, and evaluating clinical midwifery education at the ward/unit level. This includes orientation and transitioning for new midwives, undergraduate and casual midwives as well as meeting the ongoing educational needs of existing midwives.

Key responsibilities include providing clinical supervision at the point of care within everyday clinical practice, in line with the ANMC Decision Making Frameworks for Nurses and Midwives. The successful candidate will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care is provided to patients.

Requirements:
">
* Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
* Holds relevant clinical or education post-registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Understanding of teaching and learning in the health care environment (adult learning principles)
* Demonstrated clinical teaching & facilitation skills
* Demonstrated knowledge of competency attainment and assessment
* Computer literacy and understanding of hospital information systems
