About The Role
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic CSSD Manager to join our clinical team on a part time basis with a minimum 48 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday and no public holidays.
Duties And Responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
Lead the CSSD team in cleaning and sterilisation servicesEnsure all sterilising standards and infection control measures are adhered toUndertake quality improvement activities for the departmentMonitor CSSD equipment and stock levels and order as requiredEnsure daily equipment checks are completed and usage records maintained in accordance with the AS 5369:2023 standards and the NSQHS Standard 3 - Preventing and Controlling Infections Standard
About You
You have a genuine passion for customer service, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
Cert III or Cert IV in Sterilising ServicesProven experience in a similar leadership roleExperience with the below specialties desirableKnowledge of sterilisation procedures and practicesExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsSound working knowledge of AS 5369:2023 and Infection Control standardsDemonstrated ability to organise the sterilisation needs of the operating and procedure room requirements
