Job Description
We are seeking individuals with a qualified background in Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Orange NSW.
In this role you will have the flexibility and autonomy to manage your day, with the support of a strong team of healthcare professionals and the resources of a global corporate infrastructure. You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with physical and psychological conditions and support them to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.
Your duties will include:
- Case management with support from Rehabilitation Assistants to handle administrative tasks
- Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes
- Collaborating with employers and employees to develop injury prevention and workplace education programs
- Working with injured workers, employers, medical and other health professionals
- Participating across schemes such as workers compensation, CTP, life insurance, Comcare, DVA and employer-funded programs
- Completing assessments (initial, workplace, vocational) to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers and identify suitable employment opportunities
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology registered with AHPRA or ESSA
- Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
- Compassion, empathy and excellent time management
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
