Your role with us: This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to manage the AdOps for KICK. As a driving force in our global ad operations, you’ll lead the charge in video advertising and DAI, ensuring every campaign runs flawlessly and delivers real impact. You’ll thrive at the intersection of technology and strategy - optimising performance, solving complex challenges and building a high-performing AdOps team that raises the bar. At the heart of our growth, you’ll collaborate with product, engineering and partners to shape innovative ad solutions, fuel brand partnerships and scale processes that power our global expansion.

What you will do:

- Ad Tech Infrastructure Ownership, to work closely with product and engineering teams to define, build and deploy our global video advertising platform.
- Key point to handle campaign support escalations requiring product and engineering engagement.
- Capture business requirements and enhancement recommendations for efficient workflows and faster delivery.
- Participate in the negotiation and vendor selection of relevant technologies such as Ad Server, DAI and SSP partnerships globally and third-party tools requirements for implementation such as data exchanges.
- Ad Pod Optimisation: Leverage demonstrated experience in ad pod optimisation techniques, including collapsing, break buffet and waterfall to highest possible fill rate and revenue from our video inventory.
- Develop performance reporting working from Video, Ad Server data to demonstrate campaign performance as well as technical performance insights.
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies, delivery issues or creative malfunctions. Identifying unfilled opportunities to target.
- Setting up our first campaigns & trafficking: with successful ad server selected, configure ad units, orders, line items and targeting parameters
- Inventory Management: managing and optimising ad inventory, working with programmatic integrations and ensuring yield management.

What you will bring:

- 5+ years of experience in digital video advertising operations, ideally with senior leadership role building experience.
- Proven understanding of video advertising ecosystem video standards VAST/OpenRTB for LIVE and demonstrated experience in optimising ad pod serving in CTV, programmatic and sponsorship models.
- Proven track record of building and scaling the ad technology used by high-performing ad sales teams working for revenue targets leaning on your existing network of relationships with media agencies, trading desks, and brand advertisers globally, especially within the gaming, entertainment or youth markets.
- Expert-level understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, including SSPs, DSPs and ability to operate an ad server
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a diverse, globally distributed team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strategic mindset and a strong bias toward execution.

Bonus points if you also have:

- Proven track record of managing or having accountability for an ad sales team.
- Background in a high-growth, fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
- Knowledge of creator economy platforms or direct-to-consumer advertising.
- Exposure to emerging ad formats like interactive, commerce-enabled or branded integrations.
- Professional experience at a streaming, creator, or media-tech company.
- Understanding of emerging ad formats (interactive, commerce-enabled, branded integrations).
- Established network of global advertiser relationships.
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Jira.
