The main responsibilities of this role include:

* Developing and maintaining financial models to inform policy decisions on early childhood education.
* Analysing financial data to identify trends and patterns that inform policy directions.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies that support early childhood education in South Australia.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* Advanced technical skills in financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting, with experience in Microsoft Excel and coding (R strongly preferred).
* Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey complex financial data insights in written and verbal formats.
* High levels of autonomy with experience working independently and exercising sound judgement.

This is a full-time 2-year long term contract role (1.0 FTE) with potential to be made ongoing. Salary: ASO5 $85,790 - $95,413 (1.0 FTE) per annum, plus superannuation.
">Eligibility and Selection Criteria">
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to being employed, which is required to be renewed every 5 years before expiry.
