Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager/Sales Executive will be responsible for the sales and handover of new access equipment, developing service and PMP contracts, whilst growing market share for new machines and ground support.
The main focus of the Business Development Representative is to manage the sales and customer support for their region by providing excellent customer service to both new and existing customers, and by meeting and exceeding all sales budgets and KPIs.
The role encompasses new business development and customer account management across all aspects of JLG's business, including new machine sales and ground support, used equipment sales, major inspections, general service, and spare parts. Building and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Identify customer base and generate sales through existing clients and cold calls.
* Increase profitable service contracts.
* Build positive relationships with targeted customers.
* Record all customer contacts accurately in the customer relations system.
* Manage the handover process during unit deliveries.
* Maintain a call cycle for visiting and contacting clients.
* Assist in developing and delivering marketing campaigns.
* Manage daily sales activities and account management within the region.
* Achieve sales targets and KPIs.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and high service levels.
* Develop and maintain a customer call cycle, manage order backlog, and provide weekly sales updates.
* Keep sales administration, systems, and processes up-to-date.
* Provide accurate forecasts and sales activity reports.
* Prepare quotations and follow up on leads.
* Promote and generate leads across all business areas including new and used machines, inspections, service contracts, and spare parts.
* Network with customers to assess current and future needs.
* Represent JLG at customer and industry events, including social events, openings, and industry meetings.
* Perform general ad-hoc duties as required at branch or national level.
