Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Professional Structural Engineer specialising in Ports & Marine to join our team in Perth, Australia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of innovative and high-quality marine infrastructure projects across the region, while playing a key part in technical development and project execution.

How you\'ll make a difference

- Partake in the design and analysis of complex marine structures, including wharves, jetties, and offshore platforms, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, drafters, and designers, to deliver high-quality solutions for ports and marine infrastructure projects.
- Engage with internal and external clients to understand project requirements, provide technical guidance, and contribute to key stakeholder discussions.
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to engineering best practices while managing risks and challenges.
- Support business growth by contributing to proposals, mentoring junior engineers, and staying updated with advancements in marine structural engineering.

Qualifications

The qualities that help you thrive :

- Ideally, 5+ years of experience with exposure to Maritime Infrastructure Projects (design and / or construction) – essential.
- Experience working for an engineering design consultancy – highly regarded.
- Knowledge in marine structures, refurbishment, port operations, geotechnical aspects, and coastal engineering.
- Proficiency in SpaceGass analysis software or Strand 7 for structural analysis.
- Local Australian (ideally on Western Australia projects) experience preferred for familiarity with regional projects and regulations.
