As a Seasonal Beekeeper, you will play a key role in preserving native flora, producing honey, beeswax, and other bee products, while ensuring the long-term sustainability of these valuable resources.
You will learn all aspects of beekeeping, including breeding and maintaining a healthy bee population, monitoring and managing hive hygiene and bee health, extraction of honey and other bee products, and hive maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have experience with bees, work rights in Australia, ability to travel overnight, and manual skills such as lifting and carrying heavy loads.
This is a casual position based in Kingaroy, involving work away from home in various locations, offering opportunities for personal growth and professional development.
