The role involves preparing samples for analysis and requires a versatile individual who can adapt to various tasks and work across multiple teams. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory processes.ResponsibilitiesSample Weighing and Cleaning: Gravimetric analysis of dust filters, cleaning of equipment and reloading of mediaSample filter preparation: Sample sorting, splitting and treatment prior to analysisInstrumentation: loading of samples, scanning and data exportQuality Control: Follow all quality control protocols to maintain high standards.Safety: Comply with laboratory safety procedures and proper PPE usage.Documentation: Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised workspace through regular housekeeping.Skills and Experiences:About YouThe ideal candidate will possess:Exceptional attention to detailExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written)Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentA proactive, 'can-do' attitudeStrong teamwork skillsA certificate IV in Lab techniques or BSc degreePrevious experience in a similar role is desirableMust be available to work the 1-9pm night shiftPhysically fit, comfortable working both seated and standingAt Envirolab Group, you’ll be part of a supportive team environment led by industry experts.
