Agronomist & Quality Manager Job
Seeking an experienced Agronomist/Quality Manager to join our team in the Goulburn Valley region.
This is a unique opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge in horticulture agronomy, quality management, and orchard development. As an ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in Horticulture Agronomy and Quality Management, with experience in new orchard development and managing expenditures within set budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective agronomy practices to optimize crop yields and quality.
* Manage and maintain quality management systems, ensuring compliance with Global GAP, Harps, and HACCP standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute new orchard developments from planning to production.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement initiatives to reduce expenditures.
* Develop and implement training programs for employees on quality and safety procedures.
* Maintain accurate records and reports of all activities, including crop yields, quality control measures, and expenditure.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in Horticulture Agronomy and Quality Management.
* Degree in Horticulture Agronomy or related field.
* Strong understanding of quality management systems, including Global GAP, Harps, and HACCP.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
