The Opportunity
We’re looking for a skilled and physically capable worker to join our Cold Room and Warehouse Team. These hands-on roles support the daily movement, organisation of warehouse and dispatch of our finished dairy products.
This role is Monday to Friday, with start and finish times varying based on operational needs. It suits someone who is comfortable working in refrigerated environments, thrives in physical, fast-paced work and takes pride in maintaining a clean, efficient workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to move product and materials around cold storage, docks, and warehouse areas.
- Place crates onto the conveyor system for sanitising and processing into the factory.
- Load and unload delivery trucks according to schedules and safety protocols.
- Organise, stack and rotate product in cold room.
- Check product quality and match deliveries against paperwork.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cold room, crate dock and warehouse areas.
- Manage stock levels in warehouse.
- Follow cold chain protocols to preserve product quality.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Report any equipment issues, hazards or stock discrepancies.
- Adhere to all WHS and GMP requirements, policies, and procedures.
About You
- Current forklift licence is required (LF class minimum).
- Experience in cold storage, warehousing or logistics is highly desirable.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting/moving heavy items regularly.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated environments.
- Reliable and punctual with a solid work ethic.
- Able to work independently and follow clear instructions.
- Good attention to detail and safety awareness.
