Role Overview
As a Project Manager you will lead the project team in all construction and mining activities, ensuring activities are controlled and coordinated to Client Standards and that project objectives are achieved.
Responsibilities
* Implement operational, functional and management control processes to meet project objectives.
* Lead and guide the project team to complete assigned projects in accordance with contractual documentation, company standards and procedures.
* Control project scheduling, cost, quality, procurement, contract administration, supervision, general site administration and sub‐contractor activities.
* Develop and review construction planning and monitor project progress to keep on schedule and within budget.
* Value and manage variations, liaising with clients, contract administrators and other relevant parties.
* Track and report on client and internal KPIs.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or a business‐related discipline (preferred but not essential).
* Extensive experience in civil construction, project management or operations management, or a similar role.
* Excellent interpersonal, reporting, analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* Strong leadership qualities and ability to manage a team.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ambition to achieve current and long‐term goals.
* Forward and creative thinker.
