The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Integration Architect to lead a short, high intensity delivery. You will oversee the lift and shift of around 15 MuleSoft interfaces from a legacy finance platform to Sage Intacct, integrating to an existing Salesforce front end.
Detailed designs are expected to be finalised in January 2026. This role runs through February to March to 10 weeks, full time equivalent). You will own technical assurance across build and test, and keep delivery on track in a tight window.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and apply detailed integration designs across API mappings, DataWeave transforms, and error handling for finance data, including invoices, GL and payments.
* Own platform architecture and environments across Anypoint Platform, including CloudHub, CI CD, policies, and deployment approach.
* Provide technical leadership across Salesforce connectors and Intacct APIs, including integration patterns and performance considerations.
* Manage delivery risks, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide clear stakeholder updates.
* Mentor developers on best practices, quality standards, and testing discipline.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
* 5 plus years of MuleSoft Anypoint experience in architecture roles. An architect certification is preferred.
* Strong API design and governance capability, including RAML or OAS, REST and SOAP, policies, security controls, and MUnit.
* Proven delivery leadership on Salesforce and ERP-style integration programmes, including lift and shift migrations.
* Australian citizen, with a current Baseline clearance, is well regarded.
Desirable:
* Sage Intacct integration experience.
* Experience delivering into Commonwealth or federal adjacent environments.
