Hispec Industrial Coatings is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in our Edinburgh North SA **** facility.
This full-time position is crucial in our blasting and painting operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of structural steel materials.
What you'll be doing
Safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport raw materials and finished products
Ensuring inventory is accurately tracked and stored in designated areas
Assisting with the receipt, inspection, and put-away of incoming shipments
Maintaining forklift and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues or maintenance needs
Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental protocols to promote a safe work environment
Collaborating with the wider warehouse and logistics team to optimise workflows and productivity
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a forklift operator, ideally within a manufacturing, warehousing or logistics environment
Certification in forklift operation and a valid driver's licence
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse operations
