About the Role
Join a fast paced Rapid Assessment Clinic where you'll deliver expert, person centred care to cancer patients needing timely assessment, treatment and support. You'll coordinate care across services, guide junior staff and help shape service improvement, all while making a genuine difference to patient outcomes.
* Deliver specialist nursing care and rapid clinical assessment
* Plan, implement and review care within scope of practice
* Escalate clinical concerns in line with clinical frameworks
* Coordinate care across outpatient, inpatient and community services
* Support early diagnosis, symptom control and safe care transitions
* Build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams
* Guide and support less experienced nursing staff
* Contribute to service improvement, audits and data collection
* Liaise with external agencies to support patient care
About You
You're a confident and compassionate Registered Nurse who thrives in a collaborative clinical environment. With strong oncology knowledge and a proactive approach to patient care, you'll bring clinical expertise, sound judgement and a genuine commitment to quality outcomes.
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* ADAC chemotherapy and cannulation competencies
* Experience in oncology or acute clinical care
* Strong communication and team collaboration skills
* Ability to guide junior staff and manage priorities
