About the Role
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives to join our multidisciplinary team in South Australia. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will deliver primary healthcare services to patients, collaborating with medical officers, program staff, and Anangu staff to provide comprehensive care.
Key responsibilities include treating acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions, managing patient recalls, and conducting follow-up care. You will also be responsible for child health monitoring, administering vaccinations, assessing social welfare issues, and conducting public health screenings.
To succeed in this role, you must have at least 3 years of post-graduation work experience, recent acute medical/A&E exposure, and demonstrated experience working in a clinical environment. A strong understanding of Aboriginal health issues and principles of Primary Health Care is also essential.
