THE WORK
The Strategic Supply Chain & Manufacturing Transformation Delivery Leader is responsible for end-to-end delivery of complex, high-impact transformation initiatives across supply chain and manufacturing. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, translating enterprise objectives into practical, scalable change across planning, procurement, manufacturing operations, logistics, and distribution.
This role requires strong credibility with senior supply chain and manufacturing leaders, the ability to influence without direct authority, and a proven track record of delivering measurable transformation outcomes in complex operational environments.
Transformation Leadership & Delivery
* Lead the delivery of strategic transformation initiatives across supply chain and manufacturing, from concept through to sustained business outcomes.
* Translate enterprise and functional strategies into clear transformation roadmaps, milestones, and delivery plans.
* Drive alignment across supply chain and manufacturing initiatives to ensure integrated, end-to-end value chain outcomes.
* Own delivery governance, benefits tracking, risk management, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams.
Supply Chain & Manufacturing Change
* Lead initiatives across areas such as demand and supply planning, S&OP / IBP, procurement, inventory optimisation, manufacturing operations, network optimisation, and logistics.
* Partner closely with manufacturing leaders to improve operational performance, throughput, quality, cost, and resilience.
* Drive adoption of new operating models, processes, systems, and ways of working across plants and supply chain functions.
Stakeholder Influence & Leadership
* Act as a trusted transformation partner to senior supply chain and manufacturing leaders.
* Influence decision‐making across functional boundaries without direct line authority.
* Facilitate alignment between operational teams, digital/technology, finance, and broader transformation stakeholders.
* Build strong relationships at plant, functional, and executive levels to enable successful change adoption.
Execution Excellence
* Apply structured transformation and change methodologies while remaining pragmatic and outcome‐focused.
* Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and with clear performance improvement outcomes.
* Embed continuous improvement and capability uplift within supply chain and manufacturing teams.
Qualifications
* Significant experience delivering transformation initiatives across supply chain and manufacturing environments.
* Hands‐on experience working within or closely alongside manufacturing operations and end‐to‐end supply chains.
* Demonstrated success delivering complex, cross‐functional transformation programs with measurable outcomes.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including working with senior functional leaders.
* Experience translating strategy into executable plans in complex operational settings.
Bonus Points
* Experience with large‐scale business transformation programs or operating model change.
* Exposure to ERP, planning systems, manufacturing execution systems (MES), or digital supply chain initiatives.
* Background in FMCG, industrial manufacturing, resources, or complex asset‐based environments.
* Strong delivery mindset with the ability to balance pace, quality, and stakeholder alignment.
* Deep understanding of supply chain and manufacturing interdependencies.
* Highly credible communicator, able to engage from plant floor to executive level.
* Structured thinker with strong problem‐solving and decision‐making capability.
* Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in ambiguity and change.
