About Our Client
Our leading global mining client is proud to be a leading Australian producer of premium quality hard coking coal for export steel markets within Central Queensland's Bowen Basin, with additional joint ventures in steel making coal, copper and magnanese across North West Queensland and Western Australia. With steelmaking coal being an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world, this is an fantastic opportunity to join a leading growing client with a focus on sustainability, innovation and progression within the workforce and supporting local communities.
What You Will Be Doing
The ideal candidate will be working and assisting the Traiing Department on site at Lake Lindsay Mine. This is a Monay to Friday roster, duration of roughly 5 to 6 months with potential for extension.
Role Requirements
Knowledge of Training processes and systems.Experience in working in a Training department on a mine site or working in Training environment is essential.Strong communication skills, confidence in engaging with supervisors / superintendents in business partnering meetings to identify training GAPS and providing training solutions.Strong computer skills in all Microsoft Offices programs Excel, Word and PowerPoint including experience using Microsoft Outlook emails, booking meetings etc.Looking for someone with a positive attitude, good work ethic, reliable and can work in team and/or autonomously to achieve business outcomes.
What You Will Need
Certificate IV in Training & Assessor Standard 11, Coal Board Medical and Drivers License
