The organisation works closely with healthcare providers, emergency services and community partners to improve safety, independence and peace of mind for members across Australia.
Our client is looking for a motivated and customer‐focused Membership Services Team Member to join their dedicated in‐office team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for new and existing members, helping the not‐for‐profit grow and retain its membership base while ensuring their life‐saving services are delivered with care, accuracy and professionalism.
What you'll be doing
* Handling inbound and outbound calls to assist with member enquiries, applications, renewals and product orders
* Accurately updating and maintaining member records in the CRM system
* Promoting products and services to meet member needs and support retention
* Processing payments, upgrades, resignations and order fulfilment
* Resolving enquiries and complex member situations with professionalism and empathy
* Working toward individual and team KPIs in a contact centre environment
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a contact centre, customer service role or medical background (highly regarded)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills – both written and verbal
* A sales mindset with the ability to identify and respond to member needs
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data processing
* Strong computer skills and confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work well both independently and within a team
