Overview
Experienced Podiatrist required for a hospital based in North Queensland.
You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of allied health staff and cover a mixed caseload including high risk feet, diabetes assessment, and renal dialysis unit.
Location and Duration: Late December / early January for 8 weeks.
North QLD location flights & accommodation provided.
Responsibilities
High risk feet – deliver high level podiatry clinical skills, including assessment, treatment, examination, podiatry diagnosis and case management within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards for patients with chronic disease and high risk feet such as amputations, foot ulcerations, peripheral neuropathy, peripheral vascular disease and gross foot deformities.
Cover a mixed caseload in a hospital setting as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications and Experience
One of the following: professional qualification as a Podiatrist with a minimum of four years experience in a relevant setting.
Compensation and Benefits
Locum rates from $80-$85 per hour + superannuation.
Free accommodation available.
One‑way travel reimbursed up to $.
Including GST.
Team and Culture
45 clinicians.
The team regularly plan weekend adventures including camping, rodeos, and local events which the candidate would be welcome to join.
They have a few gyms in town including a yoga studio, and there is a large lake nearby for paddleboarding, canoeing, swimming, or boating.
