Job Role Overview
The Forklift Operator/Trades Assistant is a key role within our organization that involves setting up and assisting with the operation of hand and power tools. This includes tasks such as grit blasting rims and wheels, manual lifting, loading and unloading trucks, grinding, greasing, stamping and striping rims.
Key Responsibilities
1. Set up and assist with the operation of hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
2. Perform grit blasting on rims and wheels
3. Engage in manual lifting, loading and unloading trucks
4. Operate grinding equipment to maintain equipment and perform repairs
5. Assist in greasing, stamping and striping rims
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year experience as a forklift operator/trades assistant
* Driver's license
* Forklift ticket
* Full working rights in Australia
