Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Services Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of road safety systems across metropolitan and regional New South Wales.
The successful candidate will have experience with complex hardware and software systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments.
This is a full-time, permanent position that requires working an established roster across weekdays and weekends, including public holidays and occasional out-of-hours field work.
About the Role
* Key Responsibilities:
1. Install, commission, and perform preventative and remedial maintenance on road safety technology.
2. Support technical IT solutions, resolving complex issues in the field and remotely.
3. Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware componentry and software platforms.
4. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports to meet compliance standards.
5. Contribute to weekly team initiatives, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
6. Apply the highest standards of safety in every aspect of your work.
* Requirements:
o Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex hardware and software systems in the field.
o Strong understanding of network configuration (LAN/WAN), cabling, and equipment installs.
o Experience with bespoke or in-house technology systems (advantageous).
o Accreditation in Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform (preferred).
o Construction Safety Card (preferred).
o A full, unrestricted, valid Australian Driver's Licence.
