We're seeking an experienced SAP Finance Architect Consultant to play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of cutting-edge S/4HANA Finance solutions.
You'll lead functional delivery across Finance, Controlling, and Treasury, shaping financial transformation outcomes for a major client based in Sydney.
What you'll do:
Architect and deliver end-to-end SAP Finance solutions, covering FICO, Central Finance, Accounting, and Treasury modules.
Provide expert guidance across configuration, integration, and customisation, ensuring best practice design.
Conduct client workshops, gather business requirements, and translate them into functional design and solution blueprints.
Collaborate closely with technical and cross-functional teams (CO, SD, MM, PP, PS, PM, TR, T&E) to ensure seamless integration.
Troubleshoot, analyse and resolve complex issues while maintaining strong client engagement throughout delivery.
What you'll bring:
13+ years of overall IT experience with strong functional expertise in SAP FICO / S/4HANA Finance.
Proven success across at least three full lifecycle SAP FICO implementations.
Deep understanding of FI (GL, AP, AR, Assets, Banking) and CO (COPA, CCA, COPC) modules.
Exposure to Central Finance and awareness of upcoming SAP S/4HANA innovations.
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead workshops and influence stakeholders.
A passion for continuous learning and staying at the forefront of SAP financial technologies.
Nice to have:
Experience in Treasury (Multibank, In-house Cash, Money Market, Instruments).
Knowledge of Project Systems (PS) and Signavio outputs for business process mapping.
