We are looking for an inventory controller to join one of our valued clients based in Acacia Ridge, Qld for an permanent position. The role is a Monday - Friday position standard office hours, starting immediately.
**Duties of this role**:
- The role carries responsibility for working with purchasing, goods inwards and Dispatch to ensure necessary functions are carried out correctly
- Monitoring stock levels and procuring stock replenishment using M1
- Coordinate cycle stock takes across SBH
- Maintain Bill of Materials for all products
- Maintain standard costs and continuously improve strategic procurement
- Co-ordinate and manage the process of all goods inwards and goods outwards at SBH
- Execute inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stock holding and maximizes stock system and paperwork accuracy.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in the mining / metal fabrication industries.
- Sound knowledge of fabrication, welding and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read drawings.
- An understanding of planning and scheduling procedures.
- Computer skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.
- Current & valid Forklift Licence
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
