Ramcorp are a privately owned labour hire, civil construction and underground mining company based in Tasmania but servicing clients across Australia.

Botanical Resources Australia (BRA) is the global leader in the production of the natural insecticide active ingredient, pyrethrin, extracted from Australian grown pyrethrum daisies.

BRA is currently seeking applications for Harvest Scheduling Officer positions to work on a casual basis to assist with the summer harvest.

About the Role(s):

Reporting to the Harvest Logistics Supervisor, these casual positions are based at BRA's purpose-built facility in Ulverstone. The objective of this role is to support pyrethrum harvesting activities through working closely with Field Staff to coordinate the transportation and weighing of raw crop material into the Ulverstone factory. To be successful in this role the incumbent requires strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to everchanging situations, as work will involve liaising with many people and is dictated by dry, warm weather.

These casual positions commence late November and are expected to conclude end of January.

Key Responsibilities:

* Liaise with Field Staff to schedule the transportation of raw pyrethrum crop material from the field into the Ulverstone factory.

* Ensuring accurate traceability of raw crop material deliveries using associated paper dockets and computer databases.

* Distribution of Harvest Information Folders, PPE and ancillary equipment for staff and contractors.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

* Have excellent capacity for organisation and communication

* Be able to work long and irregular hours

* Strong computer skills and the ability to create and maintain accurate records

* Good analytical and problem-solving ability

* Work well within a small team and have the capacity to work unsupervised

* Valid driver licence
