Our BWE Drilling - Drill and Blast business unit provides full production drilling and specialty blasting services across the civil and mining industries. Our range of services are all performed with minimal disturbances to the surrounding environment and construction areas.
What You'll Do:
* Deliver practical field-based training and assessments in drilling, blasting and associated activities
* Support the implementation and compliance of training packages, SOPs and SWIs
* Monitor operator performance and identify skills gaps to recommend appropriate training solutions
* Collaborate with Site Management and Operational Teams to ensure compliance with legislative and procedural standards
* Lead and assist in incident investigations and correctively action from a training and competency perspective
* Maintaining accurate training records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring:
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
* Proven experience in a similar role within Mining, or Drill & Blast operations
* Understanding of compliance, WHS legislation, site operational procedures
* Strong knowledge of explosives management systems, WA Dangerous Goods Safety Regulations, and drill operations
* Ability to work autonomously and within a large team in a field-based environment
