About the Role
As General Manager, you'll oversee the smooth running of our office, workshop, plant hire, and transport operations. You'll lead a skilled team, ensure efficiency across projects, and work closely with the business owners to drive growth and maintain service excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and managing mechanics, technicians, and support staff
* Overseeing plant hire fleet availability, bookings, and maintenance scheduling
* Coordinating transport logistics for equipment and machinery
* Monitoring job progress, budgets, and operational efficiency
* Implementing systems for job tracking, task delegation, and productivity
* Promoting a safe, compliant, and positive workplace culture
About You:
We're looking for a confident and accountable leader who thrives in a hands-on environment.
Key requirements:
* Strong management and leadership skills
* Excellent organisational and planning ability
* Experience with civil & mining machinery (highly regarded)
* Valid Driver's Licence (HR or higher preferred)
