About the Role : As a Network Engineer you will design, implement, and maintain networking systems to ensure seamless communication and access to critical healthcare data. Manage cloud-based and hybrid network solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms). Perform patching, firmware upgrades, and equipment maintenance to ensure network uptime and optimal performance. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving cybersecurity threats to drive continuous improvement in network architecture. Document procedures, network configurations, and other relevant details to ensure operational continuity. Skills and Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered. 3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries. Strong expertise in networking technologies such as routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs. Experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure) is a big plus. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are strongly preferred. Knowledge of networking protocols and standards (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs). Familiarity with healthcare-related IT systems and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Nice-to-Have Skills : Familiarity with network performance monitoring tools, such as SolarWinds or Wireshark. Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) technologies.
