Job Description
As Senior Accountant, you will be the financial backbone of the business and a key partner to leadership teams. Your responsibilities will include:
* Partnering with Sales, Operations, and Corporate Finance to provide insights and influence decisions
* Managing AR, AP, credit control, payroll, and general ledger reconciliations
* Preparing monthly reports and journals for corporate submission
* Driving compliance with GST and statutory requirements
* Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Leading process improvements and best practice initiatives during integration into the wider group
This role suits a generalist accountant from a small to mid-sized business background who thrives on variety and enjoys working closely with stakeholders to add real value.
The Successful Applicant
* Degree or Diploma in Accounting or related field
* A willingness to take on transactional finance tasks
* Strong Excel skills, exposure to MYOB desirable
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across the business - business partnering is a key component of the role
* Commercial acumen and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
