About The Role
The practice manager will support the growth of our ANZ Delivery Service team, ensuring operational needs and processes effectively drive the success of our service delivery.
Responsibilities
1. Plan, record, and manage all engagements according to defined “best practices”.
2. Leverage resources effectively across teams to maximize customer and operational objectives.
3. Manage Project Issues and Risks efficiently.
4. Forecast staffing needs accurately and collaborate with the Resource Manager to optimize staff utilization.
5. Manage Project Management staff and Partners, fostering their development and providing mentorship.
6. Implement initiatives to improve efficiency and innovation benefiting stakeholders.
7. Monitor engagements to ensure effective management, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
8. Achieve or exceed operational metrics to ensure operational excellence.
9. Conduct engagement reviews, manage project scope, risks, and backlog.
10. Provide monthly forecasts to demonstrate business control.
11. Oversee the Post Implementation Customer Survey process, aiming for a score of 8 or higher, and follow up on scores below 7.
12. Supervise the use of UKG Project Workbooks and produce monthly project summaries.
13. Support the Project Manager Team and other Delivery Services management.
14. Make decisions with senior management's input when necessary.
15. Serve as an Executive Sponsor on selected projects.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 3+ years managing Professional Service operations or as a Senior Project Manager.
* Knowledge of Workforce Management is a plus.
* Proven experience in professional services leadership, customer engagement, project management, and enterprise software.
* Ability to communicate technical information effectively in business contexts.
* Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
* Understanding of professional services operations, including resource deployment, staff development, and partner management.
* Financial acumen in planning, forecasting, budgeting, and revenue recognition within the software/services industry.
