We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to drive our maintenance strategy.
About the Role:
* Manage a regional hub and team of planners responsible for planned maintenance activities across sites.
* Maintain a rolling 3-week schedule of labour and events, issuing detailed work packs to the field.
* Coordinate with procurement to ensure parts are ordered, aligned, and ready before work commences.
* Schedule resources, site access, logistics, and labour for major component jobs.
* Respond to breakdowns as needed, prioritizing >70% planned work delivery.
* Update and close out work orders with accurate detail, including statutory compliance and asset history.
* Collaborate with condition monitoring teams to resolve faults and implement proactive strategies.
* Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and planning.
Requirements:
* Strong experience in maintenance planning, coordination, or operations – ideally in mining or heavy industry.
* Ability to work well under pressure, communicate effectively, and stay ahead of the curve.
* Proactive mindset and bias for action – leading with direction rather than waiting for it.
* Understanding of the importance of detail and discipline in scheduling and compliance.
* Experience using relevant software similar to AMT, GP, and D365.
