We are looking for a permanent Full time Medical Imaging Receptionist to join our team at Xplore Radiology in Griffith, NSW. This position will see you playing a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients and supporting the smooth running of our radiology practice.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and welcoming patients, both in person and on the phone, in a friendly and professional manner
* Registering and booking patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and management of the appointment calendar
* Collecting patient information and updating electronic medical records
* Handling payments, processing claims and managing related administrative tasks
* Providing general information and assistance to patients, addressing their questions and concerns
* Supporting the radiology team by carrying out various clerical and administrative duties as required
What we're looking for
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and empathetic manner
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Proficient in using computers and an ability to learn new systems
* A friendly, professional and helpful attitude, with a genuine commitment to providing high-quality customer service
