**Recruit Personnel are currently working with a number of Disability Service Providers across NSW **on building their workforce capability and capacity.
**Job Summary **The role will include providing quality
**Community Access** support services to participants. This could include providing assistance with daily living and domestic duties or accompanying to appointments or day activities.
**Supported Independent Living** - Our clients provide high quality SIL accommodation for their participants. You will be working across a 24/7 roster, flexibility around weekends and sleep over shifts required.
**About the roles** In these roles you may be working directly with clients who present with complex trauma, psycho-social challenges and learning difficulties. Additionally clients may have physical disabilities including mobility issues. You aspire to be a mentor and great listener with a dedication to ensure people feel heard, valued and empowered. With a passion to provide unique, person-centred support to achieve aspirations and goals, you enjoy relationship building and being part of the journey with those in your care.
**Key Points**:
- You will be required to complete a Traineeship in CHC33015 Certificate III Individual Support (Disability).
- Your Traineeship will be completed on the job - all training is undertaken during work hours.
- Be paid to train and get qualified.

**Skills and Experience**
- Ability to develop and maintain positive, dignified, and respectful relationships with participants, their families and other health support workers
- Ability to use clear and concise language in verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to calmly de-escalate emotive situations
**Essential to the Role**
- As per the Public Health Order for the NSW Disability sector applicants are required to provide evidence of COVID 19 full vaccination status unless a medical exemption is provided.
- Must be able to provide a Working with Childrens Check, National Police Check and NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)
- You will require current comprehensive car insurance and reliable vehicle
- P2 driver's licence as a minimum.
