We're seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to spearhead our pre-sales efforts and drive technical success for our Mid-Market and Enterprise clients.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating long-term relationships with prospects, aligning technical solutions with business outcomes, and helping us achieve our revenue targets.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative problem-solver who can envision how Klaviyo can be integrated within our customers' tech stacks and develop solutions that ensure long-term success.
Your expertise in sales engineering, solutions architecture, and web development languages will enable you to prototype new solutions, track and learn from the ever-changing technical landscape, and incorporate modern, optimized solutions to high-value problems.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Spearhead technical and solution pre-sales campaigns to prospective Mid-Market and Enterprise clients
* Host technical workshops to align technical solutions with overall business outcomes
* Architect and execute Proof of Value plans to achieve technical selection over competitors
* Become an expert in the Klaviyo experience, including data pipelines, code base, and technical tradeoffs
* Support product field alignment by synthesizing customer needs and working closely with Developer Experience teams and Product teams
* Educate sales team members and prospects/customers on the Klaviyo experience

Requirements:
1. 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering/architecture, or digital agency experience with solution implementation and client engagement
2. 3+ years of experience working with web development languages (JavaScript, Node.js, React), REST APIs, or general-purpose programming languages like Python
3. Strong domain knowledge in marketing automation tools, customer data platforms (CDP), eCommerce systems, mobile apps, analytics, ad tech, and data engineering
4. Proven ability to learn new domains quickly and track changes in the technical landscape
5. A compelling communicator and storyteller who can impress prospects at any level, from executive to developer
