At Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD), we are committed to Trusted Care, Better Health for Everyone, and we are looking for a dedicated Administration Officer Level 3 (AO3) to be an essential part of our Cancer Centre Specialists team.

About The Opportunity

As an Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing general administrative and specialised secretarial support to the Cancer Centre Specialists team. All duties carried out in this role are to be focused on providing an excellent patient/carer centred service.

In This Role You Will

Provide general secretarial and administrative services to the Central Coast Cancer Centre leadership team as directed by the Administration Services Manager.Prepare Medical Records for patients attending the centre.Provide a call centre function for the Centre, including management of simple requests from patients/carers/staff and directing phone calls to appropriate area as required.Provide general office document management, scanning, printing reports or other as requested by the Administration Services Manager.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

Demonstrated experience in data entry use in computer applications and the ability to transfer information into computerised systems, where attention to detail is essential.Effective communication and negotiation skills including excellent listening.Demonstrated administrative and organisational skills and the ability to manage constant workloads with frequently changing priorities.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member and maintain strong team commitment.Demonstrated ability to take initiative and the capacity to follow direction.
