Overview
For HC Truck Driver, Semi Truck Operator to deliver and handle civil materials and equipment for a leading construction equipment provider. A Permanent Full Time role within a dynamic construction and logistics environment.
Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain a heavy combination semi tubing truck safely and professionally.
* Deliver and collect tubing coils (including conduit and pipe), civil materials, tools and plant attachments to various sites.
* Load and unload using safe methods including forklift, crane, and site plant while adhering to safety restraints.
* Complete daily pre-start inspections, conduct basic truck checks, report defects and maintain tidy housekeeping standards.
* Follow Chain of Responsibility guidelines, fatigue management protocols and all site safety requirements effectively.
* Use run sheets, delivery dockets, permits and basic electronic applications to ensure accurate record keeping.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors, site teams and suppliers to coordinate deliveries.
* Support the team with general yard or site duties within licence and safety limits as needed.
Requirements
* Valid HC (Heavy Combination) truck licence and solid professional experience operating semi tubing trucks.
* Location: south-western suburbs of Perth.
* Strong knowledge of loading/unloading protocols and site safety standards.
* Experience with delivery paperwork including run sheets and electronic applications.
* Ability to work independently while communicating professionally with site supervisors and crew.
* Minimum visa: Work Visa to legally operate in Australia.
