We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Electrical Estimator. This exciting opportunity involves preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions, interpreting drawings, specifications, scope documents, and bill of quantities.
About the Role
As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and lead times, working closely with project managers and leadership teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance works, as well as experience in estimating street lighting or public lighting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
* Interpret drawings, specifications, scope documents, and bill of quantities
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and lead times
* Work closely with project managers and leadership teams
You will be working on various electrical projects including industrial electrical works, street lighting maintenance and upgrade projects, general electrical service and maintenance works, sports field lighting projects, commercial and industrial minor projects, and general electrical projects across multiple sectors.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an electrical estimator (industrial/commercial preferred)
* Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
* Comfortable preparing estimates for both service-based jobs and larger projects
