In this role, you'll:
* Provide leadership for third-party asset manager initiatives supporting Restricted Access Vehicle (RAV) access under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and Rail Safety National Law (RSNL), ensuring alignment with legislative obligations, safety requirements, and operational objectives
* Coordinate and provide expert input to support effective management of Restricted Access Vehicle (RAV) access across third-party owned and managed assets
* Work collaboratively across Transport and with external stakeholders to manage RAV access and interface issues in a safe, consistent, and efficient manner, promoting constructive relationships and mutually beneficial outcomes

About you
* Be subject matter expert with a proven understanding of the Heavy Vehicle National Law, Rail Safety National Law, and quality management systems, with the ability to apply this knowledge in complex operational and regulatory contexts
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement experience, able to translate complex technical issues for technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Be able to work with minimal supervision and use sound judgment in implementing policies and be fully accountable for delivering advice of the highest quality and integrity
* Appropriate tertiary in a related discipline, or demonstrated relevant, equivalent professional experience
