MacKillop Family Services is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Out of Home Care team, working alongside children and young people with complex needs in a supportive, therapeutic residential environment.
In the role of Residential Youth Care Worker, you'll help create a safe home, respond to daily and emotional needs, and empower young people to develop confidence and essential life skills.

This is a fulltime/ parttime /casual opportunity based throughout our Wimmera Southwest region within our Out of Home Care Program.
This position reports to the Regional Coordinator.
Key Selection Criteria To be successful in this role, you will have: A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or if you hold a similar or relevant qualification such as a Diploma of Community Services, Social Work, or another related tertiary qualification you're also encouraged to apply.
A genuine interest in young people and their wellbeing.
Demonstrate empathy for young people in our care in an open minded and nonjudgmental manner.
Highly developed capacity for emotional self-regulation including the capacity to set and maintain consistent boundaries to provide safety, stability and consistency.
