About The Role:
Make every day meaningful as a Support Worker at Northcott.
You will empower people with disability to live as independently and confidently as possible — building daily living skills, maintaining wellbeing, and fostering inclusion in the community.
In this role, you will:
* Provide personal care that promotes dignity and independence (e.g. showering, toileting, continence support).
* Support safe manual handling and mobility using hoists and other aids.
* Follow individual care plans to meet health needs such as epilepsy or wound care.
* Prepare meals and assist with mealtimes in line with mealtime management plans.
* Enable customers to participate in everyday activities — from household tasks to social and community outings.

Skills & Experience:
You can work flexibly across mornings, afternoons, overnights (including sleepovers), and weekends.
You are confident with manual handling, PEG feeding, medication administration, and safe transport.
You stay calm, capable, and compassionate when things get challenging.
You have experience supporting people with varying physical, cognitive or behavioural needs — and always lead with respect.
You love learning, connecting, and helping others live more independently.
