Grand Pacific Health (GPH) is a for-purpose community-based organisation. GPH provides high quality health services to assist people in the management of their physical and mental health. GPH's mission is to provide equitable heath care with an emphasis on helping vulnerable and at risk of disadvantage populations as well as regional communities.
GPH employs over 420 staff including many qualified health and other professionals including peer workers and community workers. GPH operations cover a large regional footprint in NSW and ACT.
About The Position
An opportunity is available for a People and Culture Advisor to join our team. As a People and Culture Advisor you will provide support across all aspects of the employment lifecycle to managers and employees.
You will be the first point of contact for People and Culture enquiries and will be involved in a variety of activities including recruitment and onboarding, contract and payroll administration, training, WHS, policies and projects. Our People and Culture Team aims to help our people perform at their best.
You will be a strong communicator, committed to customer service and able to develop positive working relationships with all people.
This is a full-time position, and can be based from Wollongong or South-West Sydney. The ability to travel to our other hubs will be required.
We Are Looking For Someone With
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or combination of relevant training and experience
* Experience in HR including sound knowledge of current HR practice
* Demonstrated knowledge of relevant employment legislation including industrial relations, equal opportunity and work health and safety and the ability to interpret Awards
* High level organisational and administrative skills including the ability to work flexibly, manage multiple priorities and attention to detail to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
