Sales Consultant / Business Development Manager

This newly created Sales position is part of our ongoing growth strategy of CCI Supplies. We are looking for an experienced Sales Professional with an enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated approach & is a proven high achiever in previous similar roles. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate success in New Business Development + achieving Company KPI's.

We are a fast growing Australianowned family business who import / distribute a range of civil & construction related consumables ranging from Site Setup & Safety, Traffic & Roadside Products, Sediment & Erosion Control to Tapes & Cable Ties.

We are ideally looking for someone who has experience selling into Hardware stores, Trade & Building distributors, Safety Outlets and is prepared to go the extra mile.

A passionate sales professional that can strengthen existing relationships whilst seeking new opportunities for further growth of our ever expanding range. Proven high achievers in other fields are also welcomed to apply.

Knowledge of our product range is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.

Competitive salary and bonus structure is on offer for the best candidate.


Key Responsibilities

Covering all inbound telephone & email sales + seeking new business opportunities.

Visiting existing customers and generating new leads.

Achieve set sales KPI'S and budgets.

Develop new business opportunities.

The ability to work both autonomously and within a tight-knit team.

A willingness to pitch in across all areas of the business.

Represent the Company in a professional manner.

Performing Ad-hoc duties as requested by management

Work with internal / external sales + warehouse staff.


Skills and experience

You will need to demonstrate the following abilities:

Have 2+ years' experience in internal sales and/or new business development.

Exceptional planning and organisational skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence buying decisions.

Strong time management.

Existing contacts and client base within the trade / hardware / safety outlets & an understanding of civil, construction + mining industries will be highly regarded.

Must be a Self-Starter and have confidence to cold call.

You must have Australian residency and a current driver's licence.
