National Capital Private Hospital is looking to employ Casual staff for the Support Services Team.
We are looking for bright enthusiastic people to work across the positions of:Domestic Cleaning / Food ServicesNational Capital Private Hospital is a 148 bed accredited hospital located in central Canberra, and co-located on the Canberra Hospital campus in Garran.Ideally you would have previously worked in a similar environment and be a team player, motivated, and able to communicate to staff and patients and demonstrate a high level of initiative.
However, experience in this role is not essential as all training will be provided.
You will play a role in providing support and assistance to nursing staff, cleaning duties which include cleaning of patient rooms and handing out of patient meals.
Ideally you would have previously worked in a hospital environment and be a team player, motivated, and able to communicate to staff and patients, and demonstrate a high level of initiative.As a Support Services Assistant your responsibilities will include:Provide high standard of food and cleaning services Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & proceduresDeliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patientsSelection Criteria:Experience in a Hospital/Hotel/Aged care setting may be an advantage Excellent time management skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsDemonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as part of a team.Attention to detailWorks well independently and within a teamMust have the right to work in AustraliaWhy Healthscope?
