Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to provide support on research that has national and international scope. This is an opportunity to work with a collaborative cardiovascular disease prevention research team at a leading institution.
The successful candidate will assist the Chief Investigator in developing and maintaining research protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and ethics requirements. They will also provide advice on research regulations, solve conceptual problems, and recommend improvements in collaboration with the research team.
The Research Assistant will be responsible for collecting, managing, and analysing quantitative and qualitative research data, including use of tools like REDCap. They will conduct literature reviews, summarise findings, and manage academic records such as EndNote libraries and publication registers.
Additional responsibilities include preparing and coordinating submissions to ethics and governance committees as required, coordinating research activities and communications, and supporting research publication development.
