Job Description:

In this role, you will be required to be flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes in the markets and assess requests from the business. You will receive all the requisite market, systems, and technical training required to develop your existing skill base and maximize your value to the enthusiastic and motivated team that you will be joining. As a front-to-back market-aligned GBM Public Operations analyst, you will develop a thorough understanding of the markets themselves and the settlement process.

Responsibilities:

* Trade allocation, matching, and confirmation;
">
* Settlements management, including prematching, inventory management, and fail investigations;
">
* Assess market changes and present the impacts, recommendations to the business and Operations Management;
">
* Identify opportunities for improvements of settlement efficiency & control;
">
* Understand internal and external regulations;
">
* Analyze and resolve exceptions;
">
* Evaluate and escalate risk items to management and the business;
">
* Participation in strategic and tactical projects with other Operations areas, IT & management;
">
* Respond to varied queries from the business and internal clients;
">
* Protect the Firm and its clients from market penalties associated with Asset Servicing events and trading;
">
* Managing ECM (Equity Capital Market) flow in the assistance of the Syndicate Execution desk.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* General knowledge of cash equity/fixed income/Derivative products;

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – essential for interacting at all levels, across business disciplines and regions;

* Self-motivated, driven, and strong team player;

* Strong technical/analytical/problem-solving skills;

* Time management and ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment;

* Accuracy and attention to detail essential;

* Competency with MS Suite, especially Excel, automation, and the ability to learn multiple programs quickly.
