We are looking for an experienced **Manager** to lead our team, drive sales performance, enhance customer experience, and contribute to the continued growth of our business.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the retail store
- Develop and implement strategies to maximise sales, increase revenue and achieve sales targets
- Set retail price, plan and organise promotional events, marketing campaigns and special offers to attract customers
- Hire, train and supervise a team of sales and customer service staff, conduct performance evaluations
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers and oversee customer service functions
- Create and maintain an appealing and customer-friendly store layout, ensure safe working environment for employees and customers
- Oversee all financial management including tracking expenses, managing budgeting and controlling costs
- Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms of purchasing products
- Research to gain a deep understanding of industry trends and customer demands, drive product development and expand product and service offerings
- Personally interact with customers, promote and provide advice on the company's products and services
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop effective marketing strategies and promotional materials, manage company website and the company's presence on social media platforms
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the retail store
**The Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years of retail management experience; experience in timber, building materials, or related industries is a plus.
- Proven team leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries effectively.
- Proficiency in retail management systems and basic financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
